HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and Individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, Medication support services, and crisis intervention.

We offer a wide range of services, including mental health care, residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and primary health services. Additionally, we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. The Treasure Island Residential Step Down (RSD) services are available to beneficiaries who are stepping down from inpatient/residential substance use disorder treatment. Clients must be concurrently in treatment, specifically in outpatient (OP), intensive outpatient (IOP), Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), or Outpatient (aka Ambulatory) Withdrawal Management (OP-WM) settings. RSD provides a temporary, drug and alcohol-free environment to residents that are actively engaged in outpatient treatment for medically necessary SUD provided to the client off-site.
The Health and Wellness Coordinator I (HWC) is responsible for maintaining the secure inventory of medication, medication administration records, and directly observing and documenting medication therapies for clients in treatment for substance use. They provide health information within their scope, act as a resource in navigating the health care system and support clients in learning to coordinate their own health care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client and Medication Responsibilities:
• Closely collaborates with healthcare team to ensure treatment plans and medication regimens are accurately implemented onsite.
• Responsible for management of client medications, including psychotropic medications and controlled substances and associated documentation, secure storage, count/inventory, and destruction according to policy.
• Acts as liaison with other staff and providers to relay requested information and reports on client adherence to medications.
• Participates in maintaining safety in the environment of care and contains and cleans biohazardous waste with appropriate PPE and supplies, when needed.
Administrative Responsibilities:
• Maintains all medication documentation, including Centrally Stored Medication and Destruction logs, Medication Self-Administration forms, Shift-to-Shift Controlled Substance Logs, Discharge/Transfer Medication forms, and other standard documentation related to organizational protocols.
• Ensures intra-agency providers receive current medication information and/or medication administration records when requested.
And other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certification, and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent & 1 year of experience in healthcare.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self-sufficiency.
Desired:
• Medical Assistant Certification, i.e., AAMA/CCBMA Certification.
• Two years of experience in a substance abuse treatment setting.
• Course work in related subjects, i.e., co-occurring disorders, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, HIV, HCV, Harm Reduction, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

Knowledge
• Knowledge of gender-responsive, trauma-informed, and co-occurring treatment preferred.

Must complete background check and livescan clearance.
