Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking an on-site Health & Safety Manager to join its dynamic team in Richmond, BC. Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Health & Safety site Manager plays a critical role in fostering a strong safety culture across operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting both employees and leadership in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Promote and support a strong health and safety culture across all operational teams
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries, and facilitate root cause analysis with corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate safety policies
• Ensure compliance with all safety training requirements and onboarding for new employees
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and records including software safety system
• Assist with the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
• Work closely with supervisors and management to identify and mitigate operational risks
• Monitor safety performance indicators and report regularly to management
What We’re Looking For
• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety. CRSP Certification is desired
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a Health & Safety role in industrial or major project environments
• Strong knowledge of government regulations and safety standards
• Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
• Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
