Job Description

The Health and Safety Service Assistant Intern will support the Health and Safety team in managing mandatory health and safety training activities, monitoring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) records, and maintaining related databases. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including HR, Business Units, and the Prevention and Protection Service, as well as external training providers.

  • Monitor and regularly update databases related to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and mandatory health and safety training.

  • Coordinate the scheduling of mandatory basic training courses for new hires.

  • Liaise with external training providers to organize and monitor training activities.

  • Collaborate closely with the Prevention and Protection Service, HR, and Business Units to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

  • Receive and review lists of new hires and assign employees to the appropriate training courses in coordination with the training provider.

  • Monitor employee resignations and organizational changes communicated by HR and update the relevant databases accordingly.

  • Track changes in employees' risk profiles and ensure timely updates to training and PPE records.

  • Periodically verify employees' attendance at mandatory training courses and prepare follow-up lists for participants who need to complete their training.

  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation related to PPE management, training activities, and health and safety compliance.

  • Support the procurement process by placing orders for PPE, training courses, and related services.

  • Participate in weekly Health and Safety meetings and contribute to the coordination of ongoing activities.

  • Learn and use Risolvo, the new monitoring and document management system introduced to replace Excel-based tracking tools, ensuring accurate data management and process compliance.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s in Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health or other related disciplines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Good English spoken and written.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Good Italian spoken and written.
  • Willingness to learn new digital tools and systems.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.
