Senior HSE Field Coordinator

Location: Woodstock, ON
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 per year

The Senior HSE Field Coordinator supports and improves health, safety, and environmental performance across multiple construction sites. This role works closely with field teams and leadership to ensure compliance, lead safety initiatives, and promote a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and implement HSE programs across multiple job sites
• Ensure compliance with OHSA, ISO standards, COR, and company policies
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and track corrective actions
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance
• Lead or support incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Prepare reports and identify safety trends and improvements
• Mentor and support junior HSE Coordinators
• Deliver safety training and ensure certifications are up to date
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into operations
• Support emergency preparedness and safety drills

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of HSE experience in construction (field-based)
• Diploma or degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of OHSA, ISO 14001, and COR standards
• Experience with audits and safety compliance processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE software (SALUS is an asset)

Nice to Have

• CRSP, CSP, or NCSO certification
• Experience managing multiple projects and teams
