ContourGlobal, a KKR company, is an established Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on developing, acquiring, and operating electricity generation and storage assets across Europe, North and South America, with a presence in Africa and Asia. The company currently manages 6 GW of installed capacity across multiple technologies and asset classes, with an additional 1.3 MW of renewables under construction and nearly 12 GW under development.

ContourGlobal is accelerating the decarbonization of its portfolio and evolving into a predominantly renewable IPP, supported by long- term contracts and innovative PPAs coupled with energy management solutions that deliver value beyond market standards. We are currently considering applications only for the PRL internship program.

ContourGlobal is currently looking for a trainee to join our solar thermal plant in Alvarado.

Responsibilities:

1. Review Health and Safety Procedures and Instructions.
2. Assist in safety rounds carried out at the plant.
3. Attend daily coordination meetings with ContourGlobal staff.
4. Participate in risk assessments and safety monitoring in field work and audits.
5. Review and organize PRL documentation from external companies so that the plant manager can authorize their access accordingly.
6. Deliver induction training and any other planned training for both external and internal personnel.

Qualifications and skills:

• Education: You must be currently studying for a Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) or a University Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (preferred).
• Skills: Office suite / English / Teamwork / Organizational skills.
