Do you want to coordinate Health and Safety tasks in a growing international technology company, and face the challenge of promoting a solid preventive culture in highly demanding environments?

We are looking for our new Health and Safety coordinator, a person with strategic vision and operational capacity to lead the coordination and evolution of the Group's global Occupational Risk Prevention and Health model, promoting its development and ensuring its implementation, always aligned with the corporate strategy and the corresponding decision-making bodies.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will be responsible for defining, coordinating and supervising GMV's Occupational Risk Prevention and Occupational Health actions at a global level, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of the corporate system in the different delegations. This role involves leading both the evolution of the global model and its maintenance and effective implementation in the different international delegations. Within this role, you will work closely with the different corporate areas and report to the corresponding management for those strategic decisions that require validation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implement the global Occupational Risk Prevention strategy, aligned with corporate policy.
  • To ensure compliance with the applicable health and safety regulations in the countries where GMV operates.
  • Functionally lead the ORP team and coordinate the different suppliers, promoting collaboration between the different international delegations.
  • Supervise the investigation of incidents and accidents, ensuring corporate reporting and the implementation of corrective measures, acting as an interlocutor with labour authorities when appropriate.
  • Promote a culture of prevention and continuous improvement in all international delegations

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

The main requirements for this position are:

  • Master’s degree related to Occupational Risk Prevention (Health and Safety), covering the 3 specialities: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics
  • Experience with at least 7 years of experience in the defined areas of responsibility. Having implemented its own prevention systems will be valued.
  • Fluent English. Knowledge of other EU languages will be an asset

Additionally, this role requires a high level of development in the following competencies:

  • Proactivity and clear orientation to results, driving continuous improvement and the fulfillment of strategic objectives.
  • Ability to work with autonomy and own criteria, effectively managing transversal coordination and developing in matrix structures with multiple interlocutors and decision-making levels.
  • Leadership, with the ability to influence transversally and mobilize teams in international environments.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in multicultural contexts and dynamic environments.
  • Negotiation skills and effective communication, both at the technical and executive levels.
