Join HumeLink, one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, delivering approximately 365 kilometres of new 500kV transmission lines that will strengthen the NSW electricity network and connect more renewable energy to homes and businesses. About the Role
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the safe delivery of the HumeLink project by providing independent health and safety assurance across active construction work fronts. Working closely with project teams, contractors and delivery partners, you'll verify critical risk controls, monitor contractor compliance, identify emerging risks and provide practical, evidence-based advice that supports safe, compliant and successful project delivery. This role is critical to ensuring Transgrid's health and safety standards are consistently applied throughout the construction phase of one of Australia's most significant energy infrastructure projects.
This position can be based in either Newcastle or Wagga Wagga Regular travel will be required throughout the HumeLink project corridor, including Goulburn, Yass and other regional project locations, undertaking field-based assurance activities and visiting active construction sites.
