CARE is seeking an exceptional Health & Nutrition Advisor to lead the strategic direction, technical excellence, and growth of our Health and Nutrition portfolio in Sudan.

This is more than a technical advisory role. It is an opportunity to influence national humanitarian response, strengthen health systems, mobilize significant donor investments, and ensure that women, girls, and vulnerable communities receive life-saving, high-quality healthcare and nutrition services.

If you thrive in complex emergencies, enjoy building high-performing teams, and are passionate about creating lasting impact through evidence-based programming and innovation, we would love to hear from you.

Monitoring, Learning & Accountability

  • Build a strong culture of data-driven decision-making

  • Oversee assessments, surveys, and programme evaluations

  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and safeguarding standards

  • Produce high-quality reports and strategic insights

  • Lead rapid scale-up during crises, outbreaks, and displacement emergencies

  • Provide field-level technical support and real-time problem solving
