Job Objective:
As the Health & Fitness Lead you will provide support to the Health & Fitness Manager for oversight of daily operations of the Fitness Center, gymnasium, outdoor turf field and the Kroc Fitness Attendants. Responsibilities include assisting in daily operations, promoting and recruiting for all Kroc leagues and sports programs, scheduling of Kroc Fitness Attendants, act as lead for Kroc Fitness Attendants. The Health & Fitness Lead is a key position on the Program team and is under the supervision of the Health & Fitness Manager.
The Health & Fitness Lead must have excellent inter-personal skills and a love for people and problem-solving. This position is a key direct line position and requires the person to be unflappable and calm showing Christian hospitality at all times ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out.
What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education High school diploma or GED equivalency. College degree preferred
Background Checks Position requires a background check to be completed and all background check results will be reviewed.
Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience working in leagues, sports and/or customer service related industries.
Certifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver’s qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm and CPR training within the first 30 days of employment
