Health Aide
Assists the school nursing personnel with routine health-related tasks and
clerical services under the direction of the school nurse.
Qualifications:
? Minimum two years of work experience in a healthcare setting.
? Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask and maintain
organization and safety. Utilize communication and interpersonal skills,
cultural competency and sensitivity, upholding privacy (HIPAA/FERPA),
appropriate language, and empathetic interviewing skills to build rapport and
maintain trust with families of varied backgrounds.
? Experience conducting telephone-based collection and data entry, health
education, community outreach, social services, or other public health
services.
