Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will oversee accounting processes to ensures compliance with the last approved Finance Procedures. You will report to the Accounting Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will oversee the work of accountants and accounting clerks in the maintenance and preparation of accounting ledgers, journals, invoices, and financial statements.
2. Review account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements for reasonableness and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
3. Oversee the daily monitoring of individual development goals set out for employees.
4. Manage scheduling and leave request.
5. You will evaluate reports.
6. Recommend improvements to training, controls and departments procedures.
7. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or 4 years related experience.
Have a knowledge of GAAP, federal regulations, and organization's procedures as they relate to financial statements
Proficient in Microsoft Office
3+ years of experience in supervisory role or completed management training
Basic data entry skills
Four years of accounting experience
