About the Clinic

We’re a 100% small animal clinic, caring mainly for dogs and cats (with the occasional pocket pet to keep things interesting). We have a loyal, lovely client base and strong community connections.

North Lakes is a busy, well‑equipped practice, so no two days are the same. Our team is friendly, supportive, and genuinely enjoys working together, we believe great teamwork (and a good sense of humour) makes all the difference.

If you love cuddles, can handle the wrigglers, the scaredy‑cats, and the occasional naughty Nellies, you’ll fit right in here.

🩺 About the Role

  • Full‑time permanent role (or part‑time, approx. 30 hours per week)
  • A busy, hands‑on role where your nursing skills are used and appreciated every day
  • Lead and support a close‑knit team that truly feels like family
  • Work in a clinic that takes pride in exceptional patient and client care
  • We genuinely value work/life balance, with effective scheduling and regular breaks
  • Enjoy a steady flow of interesting cases and great clients
  • Be part of a clinic that loves trying new ideas and continuously improving

Why Greencross?

At Greencross, we’re all about helping our people grow, feel supported, and enjoy coming to work. When you join us, you’ll enjoy:

  • Strong leadership support at clinic, regional, and national levels
  • Access to CPD, training, and leadership development pathways such as LinkedIn Learning, VetWebinars, our annual Clinical Conference (held in Brisbane this year) and more
  • Career growth opportunities across a large national network
  • Team member discounts and well-being benefits such as Fitness Passport, 50% off Royal Canin food, 25% off Petbarn products, Pounce (hundreds of discounts and deals across top brands and everyday essentials) and more
  • A culture built on respect, teamwork, and support
  • The chance to make a real difference with the backing of a trusted brand
  • Access to a free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support your mental health

Is This You?

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 3+ years’ experience
  • A confident, capable nurse with a solid clinical background
  • Leadership experience is a bonus, but we also welcome nurses ready to step up
  • A great communicator who connects easily with clients and teammates
  • Calm, organised, and proactive (even on the busy days!)
  • A positive, encouraging leader who loves teamwork
  • Passionate about mentoring, teaching, and helping others grow
  • Keen to help shape a fun, supportive, high‑performing clinic culture
