Do you want to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Head Strategy & Business Development to join our Exchanges team in Zurich, responsible for driving strategic initiatives, expanding business opportunities, and fostering innovation across our exchange and FMI ecosystem. What You Will Do

  • Drive the development and execution of the strategic roadmap in line with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and shareholder expectations.
  • Identify market trends and growth opportunities across Exchanges and our financial market infrastructure (FMI) businesses through in-depth analysis, competitor benchmarking and strategic foresight.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives with clear KPIs and measurable business outcomes.
  • Support Senior Management in defining and monitoring long-term strategic objectives.
  • Lead initiatives in new market segments, ESG-related products, and digital transformation to strengthen competitiveness and innovation within the FMI landscape.

What You Bring

  • University degree in business, finance, or economics, with 10–15 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience in corporate strategy and business development within exchanges, FMIs, or closely related capital markets institutions
  • Solid understanding of exchange-related value chains, market structure, and regulatory frameworks affecting FMIs.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at executive level and work effectively across functions.
  • High analytical capability and strategic thinking combined with a results-oriented, pragmatic mindset.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German, French, and/or Spanish is a strong advantage.
