Mission: As the Head Sommelier at ME Lisbon, you will be responsible for curating and delivering exceptional wine experiences that complement our fine dining concept. You will guide guests through an outstanding beverage journey, elevating service standards, and ensuring an unforgettable lifestyle hospitality experience

What will you have to do?

• Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings, delivering a personalized and memorable dining experience to guests.
• Manage and maintain the wine cellar, ensuring optimal stock levels, storage conditions, and inventory control.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary and restaurant teams to develop and enhance wine pairing experiences.
• Drive wine and beverage sales through product knowledge, upselling techniques, and guest engagement.
• Participate in the selection, sourcing, and updating of wine lists, ensuring alignment with the hotel's fine dining standards.
• Support the training and development of service teams, sharing wine knowledge and promoting excellence in beverage service.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sommelier, preferably within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of national and international wines, wine regions, grape varieties, and food pairing principles.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences with outstanding attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and colleagues.
• Recognized Sommelier certification will be considered a strong advantage.
• Proactive, charismatic, and guest-focused professional, capable of delivering exceptional service and performing successfully in luxury hospitality.
