Head of Supply Chain Management

The main activities and responsibilities

• Demand Management : Drive a customer-oriented culture and ensure that the final demand figures are aligned with sales and emerging market dynamics.
• Business Risk Management-Ensure correct demand and supply views are considered to evolve procurement strategy.
• OTC Desk Management – Manage the Order-to-Cash process. Working with stakeholders on ensuring compliant order acceptance, commercial documentation and order execution
• OWC Management – Ensure that inventories for network RMs and FGs/WIP meet highly evolved norms and BG/BU targets through sustainable processes
• Complaint Handling-Lead a process driven culture with nil tolerance for repeat mistakes
• Customer Relationships -As the lead for DSCM, manage customer relationships in an appropriate manner based on criticality to business to position the organization as a market and product leader
• Taxation- Manage customer relationships in an appropriate manner based on criticality to business to position the organization as a market and product leader

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• Graduate/PG in supply chain/operations management.
• Experience in a broad supply management and negotiation.
• Ideally 15 years in a multi-national set up, with a strong techno-commercial focus and responsibilities.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong commercial focus.
• Ability to handle multiple complex situations and tasks.
• Acute awareness of financials and impacts to company performance.
• Ability to manage customer relationships.
• Proven ability to lead large teams.
