Head-Royce school is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic educators to join our substitute teacher list. Opportunities exist to sub in all departments and divisions. This is a great way to find out more about Head-Royce School and our campus.
Substitutes will meet with Divisions representatives or Department Chair to be screened. Then they will be sent to HR for onboarding (livescan, TB, SB848 clearance, etc.). Once cleared, subs are called ahead of time as much as possible and coordinate with the lead teacher regarding the expectations and duties. More experienced substitutes may be called with 24 hours notice.

Head-Royce enrolls approximately 930 students in K-8 division (Lower and Middle Schools) and 9-12 grades in the Upper School — and provides a dynamic, whole-child education to every student. We envision a future where education unlocks the promise and purpose of every student to better the world.
HRS is unable to provide immigration sponsorships such as H1B Visas. Open to all applicants authorized to work in the U.S and willing to undergo both Livescan background check and TB screening as part of the hiring process.
