Medivet Stoke Newington is seeking an experienced and confident Head Veterinary Nurse to lead and inspire a close-knit nursing team within this busy, community-focused practice in North London. This role is ideal for a proactive RVN who enjoys a mix of hands-on clinical work and leadership responsibilities, supporting high standards of patient care, mentoring nurses and students, and working closely with the practice leadership team to drive continuous improvement. Stoke Newington is a vibrant and diverse area known for its village feel, independent shops, cafés and green spaces such as Clissold Park, while still offering excellent transport links into central London. About you
You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a confident leader with experience of getting the best out of every colleague.

What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, leading nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to the nursing team
