Define the multi-year product vision and roadmap for core retail domains (e.g., catalog, search, personalization,
merchandising, checkout, and internal tooling).
Own portfolio prioritization and investment decisions based on business impact, customer outcomes, and ROI.
Set and manage OKRs for product lines; ensure value realization through disciplined delivery and benefit tracking.
Establish product governance (standards, stage gates, decision rights) and align initiatives with corporate strategy.
Lead build-vs-buy analyses, vendor selection, and commercial negotiations for platforms and strategic partners.
Provide executive-level reporting on product performance, adoption, risks, and strategic trade-offs.
2. Engineering & Delivery Excellence
Oversee end-to-end delivery across product, engineering, design, and data teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective
outcomes.
Set and enforce architecture, security, and quality standards for scalable and reliable platforms.
Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices to improve release cadence and system uptime.
Implement telemetry and observability to monitor product health and optimize performance.
3. AI, Data & Platform Innovation
Lead AI-driven product innovation (e.g., visual search, vector search relevance, personalization, dynamic routing).
Establish experimentation-at-scale (A/B testing, multivariate tests), ensuring statistically sound decision-making.
Build and govern data pipelines and MLOps practices (model lifecycle, monitoring, drift, retraining, and ethics).
Integrate retail data sources (catalog, behavioral, transactional, supply chain) to power intelligent features.
Advance platform capabilities (search, recommendations, pricing, promotions) using modern data and AI stacks.
Ensure cost-efficient infrastructure and performance tuning (e.g., query optimization, caching, autoscaling).
Translate customer feedback and market insights into AI-enabled feature roadmaps with measurable impact.

Qualifications & Skills
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) Minimum 12–15 years of experience in product management, engineering leadership, and digital transformation Proven track record of leading large-scale product engineering initiatives in retail or e-commerce environments Strong expertise in product strategy, portfolio governance, and technology integration Deep understanding of AI-driven solutions, data platforms, and modern architecture principles Experience in implementing DevOps, CI/CD, and scalable engineering practices Proficiency in experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level Strong financial acumen for managing budgets, ROI analysis, and cost optimization Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for cross-functional alignment Ability to build and mentor high-performing teams and foster a culture of innovation and accountability Certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum, or relevant technology credentials are an advantage
