The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Housekeeping Head Porter who will supervisethe Housekeeping Porters team with promt delivery of all guests and colleagues requests to ensure the comfort of guests accordingly to the Peninsula standards and procedures. This role will report to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure that all Housekeeping Porters execute guest request servicing of each room as per sequence of service in a timely manner. They must be attentive to discrepancies establishing proper communication. They also must take note of guest preferences and update guest profile through daily communication with housekeeping supervisor. Ensure that all Housekeeping Porters are able to handle queue rooms with guest requests, promptly as per demand, and that they are able to complete daily productivity set by department during each shift and follow Peninsula Standards at each step.
• Ensure adherence of all Housekeeping Porters to all emergency regulations and Department policies and procedures. Establish proper coordination on all engineering job orders and lost and found requests with security using HOT SOS. To ensure any missing or broken items from rooms, stores, etc are immediately reported to housekeeping coordinator/supervisor.

General requirements

• Previous experience within a similar role within the housekeeping department.
• Passion and appreciation of quality luxury hotel service and hygiene standards.
• Excellent time management and organization, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
• Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
