As Head of UNITE Business Testing, you will be accountable for driving execution of business testing across the UNITE program, ensuring the organisation is ready to deliver change at pace and at scale. This is a highly complex, enterprise-wide change with significant regulatory scrutiny, requiring the balance of BAU testing demands with transformation priorities.
As an experienced Delivery specialist, you will embrace this hands-on, delivery-focused role where you will take ownership of Testing, bringing structure, clarity, momentum and strong execution discipline. With experience in large-scale transformation programs, you have the drive to run hard at ambitious goals, leading large teams and managing partner relationships. This is not a purely strategic role - you will be expected to be hands-on, decisive and delivery-focused.
You will lead end-to-end business testing execution across UNITE, ensuring clear test cases, ownership, and operating rhythms are in place to support delivery. A key part of your role will be embedding automation at scale and ensuring testing is efficient, repeatable and fit for a modern enterprise environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading hands-on execution of business testing across the UNITE program
• Driving end-to-end test delivery for UNITE, including test case design, execution, defect management and outcomes
• Embedding structured business readiness testing, including scenarios, dress rehearsals and operational execution
• Uplifting and scaling test automation
• Bringing immediate structure and discipline to testing environments that are behind or underperforming
• Partnering with delivery teams and external partners to accelerate execution, not just define strategy
• Supporting complex change across data, platforms and business processes, ensuring testing keeps pace with delivery
• Building a scalable internal testing capability
• Providing clear, methodical reporting on testing progress, risks and delivery outcomes to senior stakeholders
Key experience and capabilities include:
• Extensive experience leading business testing execution across large transformation programs, driving alignment between business, technology, and change teams
• Experience in large-scale change involving data, platforms and integrated business in complex, fast-paced environments
• Automation experience is essential. Strong experience in test automation, with demonstrated ability to implement and scale it in practice.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly articulate testing progress and risks. Experience in influencing at Executive and board level.
• Highly pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with a clear focus on delivery over theory
• Experience working alongside external partners, with a focus on holding delivery to account
