About the role and team

Uber Advertising is looking for an experienced commercial leader to lead and scale our Ads business in Argentina across our Mobility platform

As the Head of Uber Advertising in Argentina, you will launch the ads commercial team in the country, own the market strategy and commercial performance, lead a high-performing Sales and Account Management team, and build strategic relationships with the country's leading advertisers and agencies.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong commercial judgment, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to accelerate revenue growth and establish Uber Ads as a strategic partner in the Argentinian advertising ecosystem.

What you’ll do

  • Launch the Uber Advertising Sales Team in Argentina.
  • Own the strategy and revenue performance for Uber Advertising in Argentina, identifying the advertisers, verticals, and partnerships that will drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Sales and Account Management team, fostering commercial excellence, accountability, and talent development.
  • Build strategic relationships with senior and C-suite stakeholders across leading advertisers and agencies.
  • Drive adoption across Uber's Mobility advertising ecosystem, helping advertisers leverage Uber's audiences, first-party insights, and high-intent consumer moments to achieve their marketing objectives.
  • Define and execute the local go-to-market strategy, translating Uber Ads' Mobility capabilities into compelling solutions for the Argentinian market.
  • Drive operational excellence across pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, and overall business performance.
  • Partner with regional and global teams across Product, Measurement, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to represent local market needs and unlock growth.
  • Represent Uber Advertising externally, strengthening our positioning across Argentina's advertising ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in advertising, media, technology, digital sales, or a related commercial field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading high-performing commercial, sales, or account management teams
  • Solid working knowledge of Sales Force and Commercial Performance Management.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing multi-million-dollar advertising businesses and delivering against ambitious revenue targets.
  • Strong experience building relationships with senior and executive-level advertisers and agencies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the Argentinian advertising and digital media ecosystem
  • Experience building or scaling a digital advertising, media, marketplace, or technology business
  • Proficiency in AI productivity tools (e.g., Gemini, OpenAI/ChatGPT, Claude by Anthropic) to streamline sales workflows, research accounts, and optimize client pitch decks.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven ability to influence across regional and global teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Established network across leading advertisers, media holding groups, and agencies in Argentina
  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
