Job Description

ABOUT GRUPO FIRE

Grupo Fire was founded in 2022 with a clear ambition: to build a national leader in fire protection from the best local companies. We combine the trust those companies have earned over decades with resources, management capabilities and a broader network to better serve clients who rely on us to protect people, buildings and economic activity.

The project already operates at real scale. In the update presented to the board in September 2026, the group reported 45+ acquisitions, €60m+ in revenue over the last twelve months and 600+ professionals across nine regions. Statutory maintenance gives the business recurring revenue and puts service quality, customer proximity and operational discipline at the centre of our growth.

We are entering a new stage: integrating better, raising the quality of information and turning growth and profitability into available cash. Every new acquisition brings opportunities, but also bank accounts, collection and payment cycles, debt and investment decisions. We are looking for someone who will give management a reliable view of liquidity before action becomes urgent.

YOUR MISSION

Lead Grupo Fire's treasury and cash planning end to end. Build a credible liquidity forecast, explain its variances and turn it into concrete decisions on collections, payments, financing and acquisitions. The role combines financial judgement, command of detail and the ability to influence operational teams across a decentralised group.

THE FIRST CHALLENGES

The first step will be to establish a single source of truth on balances, availability and obligations for each entity. On that basis, you will develop liquidity forecasts the team can use to make decisions, not just to report: which collections are likely, which payments are committed and which risks require action this week.

As the group adds new companies, you will integrate their cash without losing visibility of the whole, and give the CFO scenarios that allow timely choices between accelerating, financing or adjusting the pace of investment.

GRUPO FIRE | Octubre 2026

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Maintain a daily cash position, by entity and consolidated, reconciled with the banks and with visibility of truly available cash.
  • Implement and maintain a weekly 13-week cash forecast, with traceable assumptions, clear owners for each input and systematic review of variances against actuals.
  • Develop a 12–18 month liquidity view with scenarios covering growth, acquisitions, deferred payments, debt, taxes, payroll and capex.
  • Work with operations, billing, collections, procurement and accounting to anticipate working capital needs and fix the root causes of variances, not just record them.
  • Manage day-to-day banking relationships: positions, credit lines, financing, guarantees, maturity calendar and covenant monitoring.
  • Rapidly integrate the treasury of acquired companies: accounts, signatories, payment methods, obligations calendar, reporting and controls.
  • Design concise reporting for the CFO and management that distinguishes confirmed data, forecast and risk; escalate alerts with options and decision dates.
  • Streamline processes, controls and tools; lead and develop the treasury team as the platform grows.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least eight years of finance experience, including four or more with direct responsibility for corporate treasury, liquidity planning and cash forecasting in multi-entity environments.
  • Experience in working-capital-intensive B2B sectors (construction, installation and maintenance, technical services or machinery), managing large customer portfolios, recurring billing, overdue receivables and commercial credit risk.
  • Hands-on experience explaining forecast errors and improving data quality, operational inputs and follow-up discipline.
  • Strong command of banking, debt, working capital, payments and collections. Able to dive into the detail and also distil a clear recommendation for the CFO.
  • Comfortable in growth and integration environments, with heterogeneous systems and the need to build processes without slowing down operations.
  • Rigour, judgement, autonomy and the ability to work with local teams. Experience in acquisitive groups or decentralised businesses is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND HERE

A role with direct impact on group decisions, access to the CFO and operational leaders, and real scope to build a first-class treasury function. You will join a growing business with a tangible protective mission and the opportunity to put in place a capability that will remain critical as Grupo Fire grows.
