SASMAR is excited to announce an opening for the position of Head of Trade Marketing, Healthcare As a leading pharmaceutical company specialising in personal care and fertility products, including our renowned Conceive Plus brand, we are dedicated to significant growth within the healthcare sector.

In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the trade marketing efforts for our healthcare division. You will play a pivotal role in developing innovative trade marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, increase sales effectiveness, and foster strong relationships with healthcare providers and distributors.

Your expertise will be essential in defining strategic objectives, managing trade budgets, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve optimal performance across various distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing strategies tailored for the healthcare sector to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Lead a team of trade marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, product development, and regulatory teams to create impactful marketing campaigns that align with business objectives.
• Manage trade marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare providers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
• Conduct market analysis and gather insights to identify opportunities for growth and recommend necessary course corrections.
• Monitor and report on trade marketing performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies proactively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is highly desirable.
• At least 7 years of experience in trade marketing or related roles within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, adept at engaging with various stakeholders.
• Creative mindset with a deep understanding of promotional strategies and market dynamics in healthcare.
• Proficient in using marketing tools and analytics platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
