Santander Insurance Holding is looking for a Head of Technology Strategy & Architecture.

Define and execute the global technology strategy for Santander Insurance Holding by establishing the target technology architecture, engineering standards and shared technology capabilities that enable a secure, scalable and resilient Insurance Technology ecosystem.

The Head of Technology Strategy & Architecture acts as the technology authority across SIH, driving standardization, technology simplification and innovation while ensuring that all Global Initiatives and the Insurance Global Platform are built on a common architecture aligned with Grupo Santander technology principles.

We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Define the multi-year Technology Strategy.

  • Define the technical architecture of the Global Insurance Platform

  • Drive technology modernization and simplification.

  • Promote technology convergence across Joint Ventures.

  • Build reusable technology capabilities across the Insurance Domain.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and technology trends.

  • Define target architecture.

  • Govern solution architecture.

  • Ensure architectural consistency across all countries.

  • Govern technology lifecycle and technical debt.

  • Define the technical architecture of the Global Insurance Platform.
