Head of Structured Export and Project Finance in Saint-Ouen

We're looking for a visionary leader in structured export and project finance to shape competitive financing strategies for large-scale mobility projects. You'll work alongside people who show up with ownership, passion, and dedication.

Your Role, Your Impact

You’ll lead the Structured finance function at Alstom, encompassing among all project finance deals globally and key financial contractual risks oversight

Your key responsibilities will be

• Develop and execute sound and innovative project financing strategies to support the business and our clients
• Lead structuring and execution of export, project finance, and PPP deals through financial close, and oversee asset management
• Lead risk management related to in particular to client creditworthiness and key financial contractual clauses linked to funding resilience – risk evaluation and trade, insurance instruments implementation
• Provide structured, innovative, and pragmatic thought leadership externally and internally
• Inspire and lead a team to deliver complex financing structures across multiple geographies.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will combine strategic perspective, people leadership, technical excellence, and strong stakeholder management capabilities :

• Postgraduate degree in finance, business, engineering or equivalent.
• Over 15 years of leadership experience in structured project finance, including equity investment. Experience both in export finance and PPP is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to establish strong relationships with customers, financial stakeholders (ECA, banks, DFIs), policy makers, and internal business leaders and ability to lead negotiations with ECAs, IFIs, lenders, and equity partners
• Sound risk discipline and understanding of financing-linked contractual provisions.
• Fluent in English and French, with strong strategic, communication and negotiation skills.
• Seasoned team leader, with an appetite for transformation and digitalization
