Your Role

The Head of Strategy & Business Performance is a senior leadership role responsible for setting and driving the long‑term strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring that enterprise priorities translate into clear, measurable outcomes and sustained business performance.

This role owns the enterprise strategy, corporate plan and performance system (OKRs) — ensuring alignment between strategy, execution and value creation. It partners with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to shape decision-making, prioritisation and transformation across the business.

This is a pivotal succession role to ELT, with accountability for influencing enterprise outcomes and enabling the organisation to perform at scale.

  • Establish and govern enterprise OKRs, ensuring alignment to strategy and measurable outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement of OKR maturity, quality and adoption
  • Lead a central prioritisation forum to ensure resources are allocated to highest-value work
  • Lead enterprise transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery of strategic outcomes
  • Oversee portfolio-level project management for key strategic initiatives
  • Set performance targets and expectations across the business
  • Challenge leaders to ensure ambition, accountability and delivery against strategy
  • Set the direction, capability and operating model of the Strategy function
  • Act as a trusted advisor to ELT and senior leaders on strategy, trade-offs and performance
  • Lead data-driven strategy and decision making
  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends and competitive risks
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement
  • Pioneer new approaches to strategy, performance and transformation

Your Experience

  • Proven ability to define and execute enterprise-wide strategy
  • Strong commercial and business acumen to drive growth and performance
  • Experience working at ELT / board level, influencing complex decisions
  • Ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared outcomes
  • Deep understanding of OKR frameworks, governance and performance systems
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear, measurable outcomes
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation or enterprise programs
  • Strong portfolio and project management capability
  • Ability to synthesise complex data into clear, actionable insight
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Builds high-performing teams and fosters accountability and ownership
  • Leads with authenticity, pace and a “hustle” mindset
