About the Role (Role purpose / objective)

The Head of Specialty BU, China is fully responsible for leading teams and processes associated with the management of the organization's sales, marketing, and product management operations. This role aims to develop and deliver marketing strategies, manage product/brand P&L, and ensure product volume and profit targets are met. By shaping operational strategy and integrating activities within Takeda, this role contributes to the company's mission.

How you will contribute: (Key accountabilities and responsibilities)

·Owns end-to-end commercial performance of Specialty BU in China, leading the BU team across sales, marketing, and cross-functional medical, and access teams

·Defines and executes BU strategy aligned with global / regional priorities

·Delivers P&L commitments, including forecasting, resource allocation, and financial control for the BU

·Prioritizes investments across brands and lifecycle stages

·Ensures an effective go-to-market model, incl. demand generation where applicable

·Drives cross-functional integration with x-BU functions to maximize customer impact and execution quality

·Ensures compliance, integrity, and governance of all BU activities
