About the Job

Sanofi Manufacturing and Supply organization is preparing its future through an ambitious program named Modulus. The Modulus Project is at the cornerstone of Sanofi strategy as it aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges as well as Specialty Care Biologics products.

As a Head Smart Factory, you will be:

Develop and Drive the Site Digital Roadmap

• Collaborate with Digital teams, Global Functions, and Business Owners to define and prioritize the site’s digital portfolio, ensuring business continuity, modernization, and operational excellence.
• Lead the deployment of Core Models, Smart Factory initiatives, GenAI solutions, and local digital applications.
• Define, manage, and monitor the site digital budget (Capex/Opex), including business case preparation, approvals, and alignment with global governance processes and systems.

Lead End-to-End IT & Digital Project Implementations

• Oversee the implementation of key digital and IT initiatives such as iShift, MARS, LIMS, Smart Factory solutions, and other global/local applications.
• Define project execution strategies and master plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure appropriate project funding, resource allocation, and team readiness, including Project Managers, Key Users, and Subject Matter Experts.
• Monitor project execution, timeline adherence, risks, and escalations through established governance structures.
• Ensure successful deployment, operational handover, and post-implementation support.

Drive Smart Factory & GenAI Deployment

• Lead the local technical deployment of Smart Factory and GenAI solutions in partnership with Product Owners and Digital teams.
• Collaborate closely with Business and Operational Excellence teams to ensure user adoption and measurable business value realization.
• Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and support where required.

Ensure Master Data Governance & Accuracy

• Lead the Head of Data & Processes and Data Steward community to maintain high standards of data governance.
• Drive governance frameworks to ensure master data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates in partnership with functional leads and Data Content Owners.

Build Data Analytics & Reporting Capabilities

• Develop and manage a pool of Data Analysts to support site business functions.
• Enable advanced analytics capabilities including performance monitoring, deep-dive analysis, big data analytics, dashboarding, and data visualization to support business decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT and Digital solutions (e.g., ERP systems, LIMS, Manufacturing systems).
• Good understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, Smart Factory concepts, AI, and Generative AI applications.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing and business processes.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and transformation-driven environment.
