Within US Consumer Cards, our Rewards & Loyalty team delivers proprietary Reward Products including our Strata, Cash & Small Business portfolios, alongside our rich ThankYou and Citi Travel loyalty offerings.
Rewards & Loyalty is seeking a Head of Small Business Card Customer Growth who will drive the growth strategy for Citi's small business credit card portfolio — a high-priority segment at the intersection of product innovation, competitive positioning, and customer value creation. In this role, you will define and execute the roadmap for capabilities, offers, and pricing that unlock sustainable growth in the small business segment, working across sales, risk, and product functions to deliver measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Lead the growth strategy for the small business credit card segment, identifying market opportunities and translating them into a prioritized roadmap of capabilities, offers, and benefits.
Define and monitor segment-specific KPIs to track performance, inform decisions, and ensure the portfolio delivers against agreed growth targets.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for small business card products, using market insights to sharpen positioning and uncover differentiation opportunities.
Partner with Risk and Pricing teams to establish and refine strategies that balance customer growth with sound credit and financial outcomes.
Optimize marketing channels and customer touchpoints to deliver consistent experience that drive engagement and cross-sell activity.
Track customer experience signals across the small business segment, turning insights into targeted improvements that directly support the portfolio's growth trajectory.
Build and lead senior stakeholder relationships across Product, Marketing, Operations, and partner organizations to align priorities and accelerate delivery.
Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and Citi's internal compliance and control standards, embedding responsible decision-making into every stage of the growth process.
Qualifications:
10+ years related product sales experience.
Extensive experience in the small business banking segment.
Deep knowledge of consumer/small business banking products and the competitive landscape, with the ability to translate market insight into clear commercial strategy.
Clear and confident communicator, able to align diverse teams around shared goals and convey complex ideas in accessible terms.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies across complex, multi-product environments.
Experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders and partner organizations, with the credibility to represent the business at a leadership level.
Solid knowledge of banking operations, credit products, and cross-sell dynamics within a consumer or small business context.
Ability to translate market and competitive intelligence into actionable product and commercial decisions.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
