Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

To optimize all operational support activities and strengthen existing standards to create a robust function for the integration of Engineering and Facilities operations as a unitary department at the site level

Manages activities in the field of maintenance and development of infrastructure and physical assets in the Zentiva factory;

Ensures that the correct level of all support services is met with the requirements of the plant's production targets. Management of entrusted investment and operations budgets in accordance with the principles of prudent management. Ensuring the optimal functioning of the space and the use of equipment, related costs and the use of the site by employees in a safe and faultless manner;

Ensuring the correct level of facilities, according to standards to ensure correct production results;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT:

  • Leads, organizes and motivates the operational maintenance department; Manages operational repairs of machinery and equipment;
  • Plans, communicates and controls the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance;
  • Provides all the necessary documentation associated with GMP and SOP. Supervises logistics processes, in order to ensure the availability of raw materials and equipment, in accordance with compliance with packaging processes.

MANAGEMENT OF TECHNICAL AND ENERGY FACILITIES

  • Manages and proposes a plan for maintaining the correct level of energy efficiency at the company level;
  • Manages the internal and external technical equipment of the building, the heating plant;
  • Maintain the level of utilities for the production standard and GMP: purified water, HVAC;
  • Monitors the company's activities and its impact on the environment and the integration of the requirements of legislation and other environmental regulations into the company's internal regulations in order to satisfy the requirements in this field within the framework of the legislation in force and the environmental management system;
  • Adheres to GMP principles as far as it relates to the activity carried out; He coordinates and actively contributes to the implementation of the quality system within the departments he is responsible for and ensures its smooth implementation through dedicated resources.

MANAGEMENT OF FACILITIES AND CAR FLEET

  • Monitors the efficient use of buildings and infrastructure to ensure cost-effective and safe use in accordance with legislation;
  • Supervises the use of office space and parking spaces and their allocation;
  • Create a strategy and plan for the investment and repair of buildings and infrastructure and their adjustment to ensure sustainable development for the company. Evaluates the implementation of the investment plan and the repair plan;
  • Manages services provided by third parties in accordance with legislation and company needs for Cleaning and Canteen Services;
  • Monitors and manages the company car fleet for optimal cost and quality;
  • Manages operational and fuel leasing contracts according to the budget.

SECURITY MANAGEMENT

  • Monitors and updates the security plans in both sites;
  • Establishes the rules and the development of plans in order to protect the company's assets;
  • Manages a security contract;

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

  • Sign specific personnel documents (leaves, promotions/warnings/sanction proposals, leave tickets, etc.)
  • Immediately reports to the direct manager any incident, case of illness, potential or real dangers or emergency situations that may have consequences on workplace safety; participate in the investigation of all incidents and accidents that occurred within the coordinating department.

REQUIREMETS

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Site Services, Facilities, Engineering, Utilities, or similar operational functions.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical industry is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of site infrastructure, utilities and facilities management.
  • Experience managing CAPEX budgets and technical or engineering projects.
  • Proven ability to build structure, improve execution and drive follow‑through.
  • Strong leadership, communication and change‑management skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Exposure to SAP or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience leading digital transformation or process digitalisation initiatives is preferred.
  • University degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences or a related field.
