Within Power Systems our Business Unit Sustainable focusses on supply of large scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Our business revolves around supplying utilities, developers and operators the latest battery systems developed by the Rolls-Royce organization for the Benelux market.

Head of Service (m/f)
(Fulltime | 40 hours)
As Head of Service, you will be a key member of the Management Team, driving the service strategy and contributing to the company's sustainable growth and profitability. You will lead the entire Service organization, ensuring operational excellence, outstanding customer satisfaction, a strong safety culture, and a high-performing team that is proud to represent Rolls-Royce. You will report to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Service strategy, translating business objectives into operational plans, budgets, and performance targets.
Lead and inspire the Service organization, fostering a high-performance culture focused on employee engagement, development, and continuous improvement.
Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery in both the workshop and at customer sites, with safety as the highest priority.
Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with strategic customers and ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional service.
Manage the Service P&L, budgets, service revenue, and project profitability while continuously improving operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, service contracts, and operational performance.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to successfully implement strategic initiatives and organizational change.
Ensure compliance with Rolls-Royce policies, industry regulations, and quality, safety, and environmental standards, while monitoring and reporting key business and operational KPIs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in a service, operations, or aftermarket environment, including several years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary service organizations through managers and team leaders.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, P&L, and driving profitable growth.
Strong customer focus with a proven ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships.
Solid understanding of quality, health & safety, environmental, and compliance standards within a service organization.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and all organizational levels.
Inspirational leadership style with a passion for developing people, building high-performing teams, and creating a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
