
Key Responsibilities
Business & Financial Management
Own overall P&L performance of the Semiconductor Business Line, ensuring achievement of revenue, margin, and profitability targets
Manage departmental operating budgets and costs in line with annual allocation to ensure efficient and effective use of resources
Monitor business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions as required
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Define and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to achieve business objectives across assigned market segments and key accounts
Allocate territories, accounts, and business focus areas; set budgets and KPIs with clear performance tracking mechanisms
Oversee key customer engagement, including strategic accounts, OEMs, IDMs, fabs, subcontractors, and distributors
Drive pricing strategy, discount approvals, and contract negotiations to secure profitable and sustainable business
Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting accuracy
Review and evaluate effectiveness of sales strategies and market approaches
Lead resolution of complex commercial, technical, or customer escalation cases
Ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives in collaboration with marketing team
Product & Application Leadership
Build strong technical and commercial positioning of semiconductor equipment and solutions
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key customers and principals
Identify product gaps and lead to the development of enhanced or customized solutions to meet customer requirements
Drive expansion into new semiconductor applications, technologies, and emerging market segments
Ensure strong product, application, and process knowledge through structured training and development plans
Customer, Principal & Market Engagement
Directly engage with key customers for strategic projects, solution development, and executive-level discussions
Partner with Marketing to design and execute online and offline marketing activities aligned with customer needs
Act as key interface with principals / suppliers to align long-term strategy, growth roadmap, and execution plans
Provide regular market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance updates to principals and internal stakeholders
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and technology developments to maintain competitive advantage
Leadership & People Development
Set clear direction and cascade business and functional goals across the team
Coach, mentor, and develop Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, and Product Specialists
Drive a performance-driven culture aligned with DKSH values and behaviors
Support succession planning and capability building within the Semiconductor Business Line
Functional Skills & Knowledge
Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, market dynamics, technologies, and customer ecosystem
Proven leadership experience in technical sales, business management, or commercial roles within semiconductor or related industries
Established network with customers, principals, and industry stakeholders is highly preferred
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance technical, commercial, and strategic priorities
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Soft Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent negotiation and commercial judgment
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Flexible, resilient, and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Materials Science), Semiconductor-related disciplines, or other relevant fields
Work Experience
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, capital equipment, or high-tech industries
Prior experience in sales leadership, business line management, or commercial management roles preferred
