Your role with impact
For us, samples are far more than just a production step - they are a showcase, a promise of quality, and often the customer’s first impression. This is exactly where you come in: you will take responsibility for our international sample production operations and continuously develop the function with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, technical future readiness, and an outstanding customer experience.

Your responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for sample production across all international sample locations
• Ensuring high-performing, timely, and high-quality production operations
• Further development of material, capacity, and workforce planning
• Leading, developing, and motivating a team of around 50 employees
• Harmonizing and optimizing processes, structures, and ways of working across all locations
• Driving the further development of machinery, technical equipment, and production standards
• Identifying and implementing improvements through automation, digital applications, and AI-supported approaches
• Providing impulses for new packaging solutions and technical advancements within the sample environment
• Closely collaborating with Quality, Supply Chain, Product Development, Planning, and Engineering
• Defining, analyzing, and tracking relevant KPIs to steer and further develop the area
• Ensuring a professional handling of complaints and implementing sustainable improvement measures
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality, hygiene, safety, and company standards

Your profile

• Degree in engineering, technical studies, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the food industry
• Proven leadership experience, ideally in a larger or international production environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, technical systems, and operational interdependencies
• Experience in process development, standardization, and change management
• Interest in forward-looking topics such as technical advancement, digital control, connected processes, and AI-supported applications
• A good sense for customer-oriented solutions in the area of packaging and product presentation
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and a clear, reliable, and decisive leadership style
