The Head of Sales is responsible for leading and executing the strategy for the business in Thailand, driving new order and revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term customer relationships across public and private healthcare segments. This role leads the sales organization and works closely with Marketing, Business Development, Service, Applications, and Regional HQ to deliver sustainable business results.
Your Role:
- Define and deliver national sales strategy and annual order and revenue targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Thailand sales organization.
- Manage key relationships with major hospital groups, public sector stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Oversee complex capital equipment deals, tenders, and negotiations.
- Ensure market transparency, accurate forecasting, and pipeline management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Development, Service, Applications, and Regional HQ.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities in Detail:
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Define and execute the national sales strategy for the entire portfolio (e.g. CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Molecular Imaging, Advanced Therapies, Digital, and Enterprise Services Value Partnerships).
- Ensure a high level of market transparency.
- Deliver annual sales targets (orders, revenue) in line with company objectives.
- Develop short- and long-term growth plans for key modalities, accounts, and market segments.
- Identify new business opportunities, including emerging hospital groups, greenfield projects, and replacement markets.
Key Account & Customer Management- Own senior relationships with major hospital groups, leading private hospitals, and key public sector stakeholders.
- Lead engagement together with the Government Affairs with Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), medical schools, and large public tenders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
Sales Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the national sales team (sales managers, account managers, clinical sales specialists as applicable).
- Build a strong sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and ethical business conduct.
- Ensure succession planning and talent development within the sales organization.
Partner Channels
- Ensure alignment between direct sales and partner channels to avoid conflicts and maximize market coverage.
Your Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 10 – 15 years of sales experience in medical imaging, medical devices, or healthcare technology.
- Proven leadership experience managing national or large multi-region sales teams.
- Strong understanding of the Thailand healthcare landscape, including private hospital groups, public sector procurement, and tender processes.
- Track record of managing complex, high-value capital equipment deals.
- Experience working with regional or multinational organizations is preferred.
- Fluent in Thai and English (written and spoken).
- Willing and able to travel across the region and globally as required.
