The Head of Sales is a vital role responsible for driving the company's growth. This entails crafting strategic plans, leading the sales team, and managing sales processes. The role also oversees all new contracts, including conducting business-commercial negotiations in collaboration with the legal team, and finalizing agreements. In addition, the Head of Sales will produce the company's sales marketing materials, encompassing website content, presentations, one-pagers, and case studies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in international sales
- Proficiency in creating compelling presentations and marketing materials
- Expertise in crafting and implementing a global sales strategy
- Experience in drafting pricing proposals and a sound understanding of commercial-legal matters
- Proven track record in establishing and managing sales teams
- Technological acumen, with experience in tech sales; familiarity with Adtech and Publishing sectors is a plus
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); native-level fluency is an advantage
What’s the day-to-day like?
As Head of Sales, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad range of strategic and tactical sales activities:
- Leading and managing the sales operations of the company, which includes setting performance objectives, managing the sales team, and monitoring progress towards sales goals
- Formulating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that identifies business opportunities, defines sales propositions, and develops new sales channels and managing existing ones (outreach, referrals, LinkedIn, email, conferences, and more.)
- Cultivating relationships with potential clients, identifying networking opportunities
- Establishing and managing relationships with external distributors worldwide, encompassing their identification, onboarding, training, and ongoing support
- create sales support marketing materials, tailor-made presentations, and guides
- Analyzing sales data to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement, including sales report tracking, customer feedback analysis, and market research
- Implementing and managing a CRM system for the seamless operation of all sales activities
- Drafting agreements, pricing proposals, and legal contracts in conjunction with the company’s legal team
