We are searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented Head of Sales to join our growing team. You will lead and inspire our sales force, including both the Client Acquisition and Account Management Teams. This role is critical in developing strategic initiatives, generating new leads, driving up-sales and cross-sales, renewing clients, and exceeding revenue targets. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, offering opportunities to develop essential leadership skills and gain valuable experience in the B2B sales industry.
Who You Are
- You bring a minimum of 5–8 years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets and building high-performing teams
- Experience in HR tech, job boards, recruitment services, or SaaS, backed by an existing network of Malaysian employers in sectors like F&B, retail, logistics, or hospitality.
- You have an analytical, data-driven mindset with experience in strategic planning, process optimisation, and creative problem-solving.
- You possess exceptional skills in developing individual and team capabilities, providing constructive feedback, and fostering continuous learning.
- You have deep expertise across the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation and qualification to closing new business, account management, renewals, and upselling.
What You'll Do
- Mentor and inspire a team of sales representatives, setting clear performance expectations, tracking progress, and providing continuous professional development.
- Develop and implement strategic workflows to enhance lead generation, improve qualification rates, and increase overall team efficiency and scalability.
- Foster strong alignment between Sales, Marketing, Operations, Partnerships, and Product teams to drive unified company goals.
- Evaluate sales data and metrics to identify market trends, optimise pipelines, and inform strategic, high-level decision-making.
How We Measure Success
- Revenue Growth: Consistent achievement of quarterly and annual new business and recurring sales targets.
- Pipeline Health: The volume of high-quality leads generated through outbound activities and the conversion rate of those leads into closed deals.
- Client Retention & Expansion: Success in securing timely client renewals, alongside driving revenue expansion through upselling and cross-selling.
- Client Satisfaction: Demonstrating high professionalism in account management to ensure client needs are met and retention remains high.
