About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced risk leader to lead the risk management function at OKX Türkiye. You will own the local enterprise risk management framework and provide independent oversight and challenge to ensure risks are identified, assessed, managed and reported within Board-approved risk appetite. Working with local management and OKX Group functions, you will oversee risks arising from local operations, intra-group services and external providers.

You will advise senior management, the Risk Committee and Board on the firm’s risk profile, emerging risks and remediation priorities. The role requires sound judgement, the confidence to challenge decisions, and a strong understanding of Turkish capital markets, operational resilience and financial services controls. Experience with crypto asset platforms and custody is highly desirable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and develop the local risk function, embedding clear accountability, independent second-line oversight and a strong risk culture across OKX Türkiye.
• Own and maintain the enterprise risk management framework, policies and procedures, aligning Group standards with local business needs and applicable Turkish requirements.
• Lead enterprise risk assessments and Risk and Control Self-Assessments with business and Group teams; maintain the risk register and challenge control effectiveness and residual risk.
• Develop and recommend risk appetite and limits for Board approval; maintain key risk indicators, monitor exposures and promptly escalate breaches and material concerns.
• Present clear, decision-focused risk reports to senior management, the Risk Committee and Board, highlighting exposures, trends, incidents and overdue remediation.
• Provide independent oversight of technology, cybersecurity, data and crypto asset custody risks, challenging control design and effectiveness with specialist Group and local teams.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal on regulatory developments, financial crime and customer protection risks, maintaining clear responsibilities and independent risk challenge.
• Oversee intra-group outsourcing and third-party risk, including due diligence, service performance, concentration risk, contractual controls and exit arrangements.
• Work with Finance and Group specialists to develop and oversee capital, liquidity, market, credit and counterparty risk controls proportionate to the local business, including stress testing.
• Oversee operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery readiness; challenge critical service dependencies, recovery plans, testing and incident lessons learned.
• Assess risks from new products, business changes and emerging crypto market developments; oversee incident and issue escalation and validate effective remediation.
• Act as the senior risk contact for local management and relevant regulatory engagement, working with Compliance and Legal; coordinate audit and regulatory findings and ensure timely risk remediation.

What We Look For In You

• Must hold a valid Capital Market Activities Level 3 Licence (Sermaye Piyasası Faaliyetleri Düzey 3 Lisansı) as a minimum and maintain it in good standing throughout employment.
• Approximately ten years’ relevant risk management experience in financial services or capital markets, including senior leadership or ownership of a risk function; brokerage or crypto asset experience is particularly relevant.
• Strong knowledge of the Turkish capital markets regulatory framework and the Capital Markets Board (SPK), with the ability to translate evolving crypto asset requirements into practical risk controls.
• Proven expertise in enterprise and operational risk, outsourcing governance, operational resilience and financial risk, with the ability to challenge technology, security and custody specialists.
• Strong analytical judgement and communication skills, with experience presenting to Boards and senior committees, engaging regulators and influencing stakeholders across an international group.
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or a related discipline. Additional certifications such as FRM, CFA or CAMS are desirable.
• Fluent Turkish and English, with the ability to work effectively with local stakeholders and global teams.
• Fluent in the use AI tools to improve risk analysis, reporting and decision-making.
