Job Description

Series A B2B SaaS | Commercial Construction Technology

The Role

A rapidly growing Series A SaaS company is seeking a Head of Revenue Operations to build, measure, optimize, and scale its go-to-market engine.

This is a highly hands-on role responsible for improving the systems, processes, data, and technology that support Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. A major part of the mandate will be identifying, building, and deploying AI-powered systems and automations that reduce manual work, improve rep productivity, and enable the GTM organization to scale efficiently.

The company has established product-market fit and a growing customer base and is now investing in the infrastructure and operating processes required for its next stage of growth.

This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and works closely with Finance and GTM leadership across CRM reporting, forecasting, sales administration, contracting, strategic planning, and financial analysis.

This is a builder role. The successful candidate will be expected to work directly in the systems and tools—not simply manage strategy or direct others.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Personally design, build, and deploy AI-powered systems and automations that reduce manual work and improve GTM productivity, including lead routing, lead scoring, call intelligence, and workflow automation.
  • Own CRM administration, architecture, data integrity, and reporting across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.
  • Own the end-to-end process for tracking and analyzing the sales funnel from lead through closed customer.
  • Build reporting and deliver actionable insights to GTM and executive leadership.
  • Optimize and support the company’s sales technology stack, including HubSpot, Gong, and ZoomInfo.
  • Identify opportunities to automate GTM workflows and personally implement solutions using CRM and AI tooling.
  • Partner with leadership on GTM strategy, strategic planning, and financial planning.
  • Manage and continuously improve the sales technology stack and troubleshoot systems and process issues.
  • Support pipeline and forecast calls, team meetings, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Create and maintain CRM reporting, forecasting models, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Support territory planning, quota setting, capacity planning, and productivity modeling.
  • Help administer contracting and sales processes to ensure consistency, completion, and compliance.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and provide insights that guide investment and growth decisions.
  • Lead and project-manage cross-functional initiatives spanning Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.
  • Establish scalable processes and operating rhythms as the organization continues to grow.

What They’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related function.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting B2B SaaS sales motions.
  • Strong to expert-level proficiency with HubSpot, including Sales Hub and Marketing Hub.
  • Experience with tools such as Gong, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Demonstrated ability to personally build and implement systems, workflows, automations, dashboards, and processes.
  • Strong interest in applying AI and automation to real GTM workflows.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with sales funnels, forecasting, pipeline management, CRM reporting, and GTM analytics.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives and multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and an understanding of how operational and financial data fit together.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and program management capabilities.
  • A self-starter mentality with a strong bias toward execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Experience

  • Experience at an early-stage or high-growth technology company that scaled through multiple stages of growth.
  • Experience within or exposure to the commercial construction industry and its ecosystem.
  • Experience partnering closely with Finance or working within an accounting or finance-oriented environment.

About You

They’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a highly hands-on approach.

You enjoy building rather than simply advising. You are comfortable moving between executive-level GTM discussions and personally configuring workflows, analyzing data, troubleshooting CRM issues, or building a new dashboard.

You are likely to thrive in this environment if you:

  • Take initiative and have a strong bias toward action.
  • Enjoy solving ambiguous operational problems.
  • Are curious and continuously look for better ways to operate.
  • Can influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Build strong relationships across different functions and levels of an organization.
  • Are comfortable working in a rapidly changing startup environment.
  • Think about the broader business rather than only your individual function.
  • Maintain high standards while keeping systems and processes practical and scalable.
  • Enjoy implementing change and driving adoption.
  • Are energized by applying new technology and AI to practical business problems.

The Company

This is a Series A B2B SaaS company building technology for the commercial construction industry.

The company is digitizing and automating a traditionally manual, fragmented, and heavily spreadsheet- and email-driven financial workflow. Its platform helps construction businesses communicate and manage project-related costs more efficiently while improving transparency between the companies involved in a project.

The business has established product-market fit and a healthy, growing customer base. The team combines experienced SaaS leaders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering with deep domain expertise in commercial construction.

The company is now entering an important stage of growth and is investing in the GTM systems, processes, analytics, and automation required to scale.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join an earlier-stage company where the Head of Revenue Operations will have substantial influence over how the commercial organization operates and scales.

You’ll work directly with the CRO and other senior leaders while owning critical infrastructure across the GTM organization.

Rather than inheriting a mature RevOps machine, you’ll have the opportunity to build and improve it—including introducing AI-powered workflows and automation that directly affect how Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams operate.

The role offers significant exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence GTM strategy, technology, processes, reporting, and organizational growth.

Location & Work Environment

The company supports remote employees for this role.

For candidates located near the company’s Northern California office, a hybrid schedule of approximately 2–3 days per week in the office is preferred.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to join a Series A SaaS company with established product-market fit.
  • Significant ownership and influence over the GTM operating model.
  • Regular interaction with executive leadership.
  • Competitive market-rate compensation for a Series A technology company.
  • Company-subsidized healthcare, vision, and dental benefits.
  • Early-stage equity.
  • Remote flexibility with a hybrid option for local employees.

Equal Opportunity

The company is an equal-opportunity employer committed to providing a positive and inclusive interview experience. Reasonable accommodations are available throughout the interview process for candidates who need them.

This is a confidential search. Additional information about the company will be shared with qualified candidates during the recruiting process.
