Job Description
Job Location: PEACHTREE CITY, GA 30269About LoweConex
LoweConex helps multi-site retailers improve asset performance, maintenance and energy efficiency through Conex OS, our centralised data and automation platform. We connect building and property assets at scale, turning operational data into clearer insight, better control and measurable business outcomes.
Our technology is used by leading retail and hospitality brands to reduce cost, improve uptime, support compliance and lower environmental impact across complex estates.
The role
As our first dedicated US retail salesperson, you will be responsible for opening, progressing and closing direct opportunities with end retailers across grocery, non grocery, convenience, speciality and other multi-site retail sectors.
This is a senior, hands on individual contributor role. Your number one priority is to build qualified pipeline and deliver new recurring revenue. You will personally lead the sales cycle from target account and first engagement through discovery, business case, proposal, negotiation and close.
Alongside direct selling, you will help build the US retail strategy and commercial model from the ground up - defining where we focus, how we sell, how we price and package the proposition, and the repeatable sales playbook that will allow LoweConex to scale in the US.
Key responsibilities
NEW BUSINESS & REVENUE GROWTH
- Own a focused target-account plan for the US retail market and proactively create new opportunities with large, multi-site end retailers.
- Build senior relationships with decision-makers across property, facilities, energy, refrigeration, operations, technology and procurement.
- Lead the full sales process: prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, business cases, pilots or trials, commercial proposals, negotiation and contract close.
- Translate LoweConex capabilities into clear customer outcomes and quantified business cases around cost reduction, asset performance, maintenance efficiency, energy and operational control.
- Convert initial projects and pilots into wider estate rollouts, multi-year agreements and recurring revenue.
- Own your pipeline, forecast and CRM discipline, with clear next steps, close plans and accountability against revenue targets.
US RETAIL STRATEGY & COMMERCIAL MODEL
- Use customer and market learning to shape the US direct retail strategy, ideal customer profile, priority segments and target account approach.
- Help define and refine pricing, packaging, contract structures, pilot to roll-out models and commercial guard rails that support both conversion and sustainable margin.
- Build a repeatable US sales playbook covering qualification, discovery, ROI/business cases, proposals, negotiation and handover.
CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL EXECUTION
- Work with Solutions, Product, Technology and Operations to translate customer requirements into credible, deliverable solutions.
- Partner with Marketing on account based activity, events, case studies and sales enablement that supports pipeline creation and progression.
- Coordinate with Finance and leadership on pricing and commercial decisions for strategic opportunities.
- Ensure strong handover after close and stay engaged through early deployment so successful outcomes create reference customers, expansion opportunities and future pipeline.
How success will be measured
- New ARR and revenue won from direct US retail customers.
- Quality, coverage, conversion and velocity of the qualified retail pipeline.
- Progress within priority strategic accounts and conversion from pilot or initial deployment to estate wide roll out.
- Forecast accuracy, CRM discipline and consistent execution of agreed sales activity.
- Development of a practical US retail commercial model and repeatable sales playbook that supports future scale.
QualificationsEssential skills & experience
- A strong individual-contributor track record in enterprise sales, business development or commercial growth within the US market, with direct ownership of a revenue target.
- Proven success winning complex, multi-stakeholder deals directly with retailers or other large multi-site customers.
- A genuine hunter mentality - comfortable creating opportunities from a standing start, opening senior doors and personally driving deals through to close.
- Experience selling SaaS, IoT, building automation, energy management, refrigeration, facilities technology or another complex technology-led solution.
- Commercial confidence building ROI cases, shaping proposals, negotiating contracts and working through pricing and deal structure.
- Ability to operate in an early-stage or new-market environment, balancing day-to-day selling with building the commercial model and processes needed for scale.
- Strong executive communication and relationship-management skills with senior retail stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated, organised and resilient, with strong CRM, forecasting and pipeline-management discipline.
Desirable
- Existing relationships across US grocery, convenience or large multi-site retail.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, energy, facilities management or retail property operations.
What we offer
A high-impact role with significant autonomy, direct access to the leadership team and the opportunity to shape the commercial model behind LoweConex’s US growth.
- Competitive salary, benefits and performance related incentive scheme.
- A fast-growth, international environment with the freedom to move quickly and make an impact.
- The opportunity to build a market, create reference customers and help shape the future US sales organisation.
