Job Description

  • Driving Business Growth
    • Deliver retail revenue & order targets aligned with Malaysia’s business plan
    • Execute channel strategies across Traditional Retail, Modern Trade, Distributors, and E-commerce
    • Expand and strengthen our retail presence across Malaysia, ensuring comprehensive geographical coverage and maximizing product availability at all key customer touchpoints
    • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities, including customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation
    • Strengthen distribution coverage and improve product availability across all touchpoints
  • Managing Channels & Key Customers
    • Lead engagement with key retail accounts, distributors, and e-commerce platforms
    • Drive joint business planning and execution with key partners
    • Ensure strong in-store execution, trade activation, and digital visibility
    • Continuously review performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Leading and Developing the Team
    • Lead, coach, and develop the retail sales team to drive performance and engagement
    • Set clear KPIs and accountability standards
    • Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture aligned with ASSA ABLOY values
    • Support succession planning and talent development within the organization
  • Working Cross-Functionally
    • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on:
      • Product launches and assortment
      • Pricing and margin (CM%)
      • Demand planning and stock availability
    • Contribute to broader Malaysia and regional strategic initiatives
  • Driving Performance & Discipline
    • Use data and insights to monitor performance, identify gaps, and take corrective actions
    • Ensure compliance with ASSA ABLOY processes, policies, and governance standards
    • Drive operational excellence in sales planning and execution
