About the job
This is a commercially critical role at the heart of our Swedish sales organisation. As Head of Retail Field Sales, you will lead and develop our field sales organisation to deliver strong in-store execution and drive profitable growth for Findus and our customers. You will drive change and set up and implement the Field Sales team to be fit for purpose also in the future in an ever-changing world.
You will combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach - setting a clear direction for what great looks like in field sales, while staying close to the business and supporting your team in delivering it.
You will have responsibility for the total field sales organisation in Sweden, with two direct reports and overall leadership of a broader team structure including one Regional Manager, one Sales Analyst and approximately 13 field sales representatives. In this role, you will ensure strong alignment between strategic priorities and execution in-store.
As part of the Swedish Leadership Team, you are expected to contribute to the broader business agenda and act as a strong cross-functional partner. You will also act as a Field Sales champion across the Nordics, driving best practice, ways of working and capability development across the region.
This role can be based at our office in Malmö or home-based. We expect presence in Malmö a couple of days per month.
Who are you?
You are a strong and engaging commercial leader who thrives in a dynamic environment where strategy meets execution. You are equally comfortable working hands-on in the business as you are setting direction and driving long-term improvements.
You bring several years of experience from Sales within FMCG in Sweden, along with proven leadership experience and a strong track record of developing high-performing teams.
You have a solid understanding of customer dynamics within retail and know how to translate strategy into impactful in-store execution. You are data-driven, structured and confident working with KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement.
You are an inspiring leader who builds trust, develops capabilities and creates clarity around expectations – setting the standard for what great looks like and enabling your team to deliver on it.
Experience with working Perfect store, sales force effectiveness and CRM tool supporting field execution is highly valuable. It is also preferred but not mandatory if you have KAM and/or Category Management experience.
You have a strong interest in how technology, data and AI can transform field sales. You actively explore new ways of working and use digital tools and insights to drive smarter decisions, increase effectiveness, and continuously raise the bar for execution.
Fluency in English and Swedish is required.
