Job Description


About this Position:
Our Client is a technology driven company delivering high impact artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to enterprise and government clients.
The Head of Research and Development will lead R&D initiatives, drive innovation in AI, and develop proprietary AI platforms and models to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research into global AI demand trends and identify opportunities

  • Define the company’s R&D priorities aligned with business goals

  • Lead the creation of reusable AI platforms, frameworks, and models

  • Oversee rapid prototyping of new AI solutions

  • Publish thought leadership and represent the company at global conferences


Requirements


Required Qualifications & Experience:


  • 10+ years in AI/ML, with 5+ years leading research teams

  • Proven track record of turning research into production systems

  • Expertise in cutting-edge AI (LLMs, agentic systems, multimodal models, etc.)

Education Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field

  • Experience managing R&D budgets and teams in high-growth environments
