Job Description

An international iGaming organisation is looking for an experienced compliance leader to oversee regulatory, AML, Responsible Gambling, and governance activities across multiple jurisdictions. This role combines strategic oversight with operational execution, ensuring the business remains fully aligned with evolving regulatory frameworks and industry standards.

You will act as a key stakeholder across the organisation, partnering closely with legal, operational, product, and executive teams while serving as the primary contact for regulators and licensing authorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks, governance processes, and internal policies

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, AML, KYC, Responsible Gambling, and data protection requirements across multiple jurisdictions

• Monitor regulatory developments and adapt internal policies, procedures, and controls accordingly

• Conduct compliance risk assessments and implement corrective actions to address identified gaps and regulatory obligations

• Oversee marketing compliance approvals to ensure alignment with regulatory and responsible gaming standards

• Manage and coordinate licence applications in collaboration with legal teams and regulatory authorities

• Act as the primary point of contact for regulators across multiple regulated markets

• Prepare compliance reports, regulatory updates, and risk summaries for senior leadership and key stakeholders

• Manage regulatory inspections, audits, examinations, and reporting processes

• Develop and deliver compliance training programmes across the organisation

• Lead, mentor, and support the compliance team while fostering a strong compliance culture

• Collaborate with operational and development teams to ensure customer journeys, systems, and products remain compliant with regulatory requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Strong preference for candidates with legal background or regulatory compliance expertise

• Minimum 4 years of experience within iGaming compliance environments

• Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdictional licensing frameworks including UKGC, MGA, SGA, DGA, and other regulated markets

• In-depth understanding of AML, KYC, Responsible Gambling, and regulatory compliance obligations

• Proven experience working directly with regulators and managing audits, inspections, and reporting activities

• Strong leadership and people management capabilities with experience mentoring teams

• Experience handling customer-related decision-making processes linked to Safer Gambling and AML matters

• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across operational, technical, and executive teams

• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and credibility in sensitive matters
