Job Description

 Head of Recruitment - Doctors/Nursing
Location: Dublin (with international scope)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Commission + Bonus (DOE)
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Recruitment to lead the launch and growth of a new Ireland-based healthcare recruitment division. You will be joining an internationally established healthcare organisation with a strong global footprint and a growing presence across the UK and Europe. With existing framework access in Northern Ireland and expansion underway into the Republic of Ireland, the business is now investing in building a dedicated Dublin-based operation. This is a true ground-floor opportunity to build a division from scratch, with full backing from an established international infrastructure, including an experienced offshore resourcing team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and launch the Ireland division, initially operating in a 360 recruitment capacity
  • Develop and secure relationships with hospitals and healthcare clients across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
  • Lead on both business development and recruitment delivery for doctors and nursing professionals
  • Establish operational infrastructure including compliance processes, policies, and documentation
  • Manage and collaborate with an existing international resourcing/back-office team
  • Recruit, develop, and grow a local team as the division scales
  • Transition from hands-on billing into a strategic leadership role over time
  • Drive revenue growth and establish a strong market presence across Ireland

Requirements
  • Proven experience in healthcare recruitment (locum doctors and/or nursing essential)
  • Strong understanding of recruitment frameworks and compliance processes
  • Knowledge of the Irish healthcare market (desirable)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build from the ground up
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to win new business
  • Leadership potential with experience or desire to build and manage teams
  • Highly driven, ambitious, and comfortable working in a start-up style environment
