Drive Value Engineering initiatives to optimize

Ensure all R&D activities comply with
international safety, regulatory, and Product Stewardship standards.

Direct root cause analysis (RCA) for complex
technical issues and lead continuous improvement in product performance.

Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and
Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless technology transfer from lab to
production.

·
Manage and mentor a diverse team of R&D
professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and inclusive
innovation.

Act as the primary technical liaison for
regional commercial leaders, marketing teams, and external innovation
partners/suppliers.

Requirements

·
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry,
Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field. A PhD is
often considered a strong advantage.

Minimum of 15 years of progressive R&D
experience within the chemical, paints, or coatings industry.

·
Proven track record (5+ years) in a senior
leadership role within a multinational corporation (MNC)

·
Expert knowledge of polymer chemistry, coating
formulations, and application technologies.

·
Demonstrated success in managing complex,
cross-functional technical projects using structured methodologies (e.g.,
Stage-Gate).

·
Ability to translate high-level business needs
into technical requirements and long-term research strategies
