The Vice President – PRU Prime is responsible for driving the strategic growth, profitability, and market leadership of the organization’s High Net Worth (HNW) client segment. This role leads the end-to-end development of tailored insurance and investment solutions, distribution activation, and advisor capability building to effectively serve affluent and ultra-high-net-worth clients
Job Accountabilities
Business Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute a comprehensive HNW strategy aligned with enterprise growth and profitability targets
Drive consistent double-digit growth across HNW portfolio, including premium income, AUM, and client acquisition
Identify and penetrate niche HNW segments through data-driven market insights and competitive intelligence
Oversee nationwide HNW business performance and expansion initiatives
Distribution Leadership & Sales Activation
Lead and enable financial advisors and distribution channels to effectively capture HNW opportunities
Drive key performance metrics including client acquisition, case size, persistency, and advisor productivity
Build scalable sales activation programs across agency and bancassurance channels
Strengthen strategic partnerships to enhance HNW client reach and engagement
Product & Solutions Development
Lead the design and enhancement of insurance and wealth solutions tailored to HNW clients
Drive product innovation in response to evolving client needs, market conditions, and competitor landscape
Collaborate with product, actuarial, and investment teams to ensure differentiated value propositions
Champion integrated financial planning solutions including estate and wealth transfer strategies
Client Strategy & Market Positioning
Establish the organization as a trusted advisor for affluent and ultra-high-net-worth clients
Develop client-centric engagement models focused on personalized, holistic wealth solutions
Enhance brand positioning within the HNW segment through targeted campaigns and thought leadership
Deliver market insights and trends to internal and external stakeholders
Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HNW leadership team and specialist advisors
Build advanced advisory capabilities in wealth planning, estate planning, and investment solutions
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource speaker on financial markets, sales strategy, and distribution effectiveness
Foster a culture of performance, innovation, and client-centricity
Performance Management & Governance
Accountable for HNW segment financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost efficiency
Establish performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership review
Present regular business updates, insights, and strategies to senior leadership and regional stakeholders
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
Compliance
Ensure that all company policies, procedures, programs and instruction are carried out
Be familiar and understand Pru Life UK Compliance Standards. Must be fully aware of his/her responsibilities and competent to carry them out to the required standards. Must report all compliance matters openly and honestly to their Compliance Officer in accordance with the reporting requirements operated by the Compliance Officer. Must operate a process within his/her department to ensure that all relevant compliance matters are identified and reported.
Knowledge (Certification - Technical, Product, Industry)
Proven track record in HNW or affluent segment business growth and strategy execution
Strong experience in sales distribution, agency management, and/or bancassurance
Expertise in insurance, investments, and wealth planning solutions
Certified Wealth Planner (CWP) or equivalent, Certified Estate Planner (CEP), Licensed Insurance Advisor and/or Investment Solicitor
