About the Role A property management group overseeing a multifamily portfolio in New York City is looking for a seasoned leader to build and run their property management operation. This is a rare opportunity for someone who has been executing at a high level and is ready to take full ownership of a growing vertical.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

• Build and run a full property management operation from the ground up
• Oversee day-to-day field operations across a multifamily portfolio in NYC
• Manage both on-the-ground operations and back office functions as a single, unified leader

Systems & Infrastructure

• Establish back-office functions including billing, charges, and administrative processes
• Build dashboards and KPIs tracking vacancy, turnover, unit downtime, and portfolio performance

Performance & Accountability

• Drive a high-performance, process-oriented culture focused on efficiency and results
• Monitor asset performance and push for continuous improvement across the portfolio

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of property management experience, ideally in New York City
• Capable of handling both field operations and back office setup
• Proven ability to build and scale systems, not just manage existing ones
• Strong command of AI tools and property management technology
