Head of Program Management Office (PMO) – Technology Infrastructure

A leading technology-driven investment firm is seeking an experienced Head of PMO to establish, manage, and optimize the firm’s technical workloads and infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to shape the PMO function, drive large-scale technology projects, and collaborate closely with business and technology leaders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the PMO team, overseeing professional development, mentorship, and training.
• Act as a Technical Program Manager, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive strategic technology initiatives.
• Define and implement program management processes to enhance efficiency and transparency across projects.
• Manage large-scale technical transformations, such as Linux migrations, cloud strategy development, and high-performance computing infrastructure enhancements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve operational workflows and optimize resource allocation.

Who We’re Looking For

• 10-15 years of experience in technical program management within technology infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, distributed systems, and high-performance computing (HPC).
• Experience in data centers, command-line interfaces, coding, GPUs, and multi-node architecture is a plus.
• Proven ability to navigate complex, large-scale projects and drive collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive and strategic mindset.
