  • Lead and manage the Production Engineering organization, ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives, KPIs, and plant performance targets.
  • Drive the development and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring the successful introduction of new products, manufacturing processes, and technologies.
  • Establish and ensure compliance with engineering standards, governance, and processes, promoting best practices in manufacturing, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Manage the department's budget and resources, ensuring cost-effective operations and the achievement of productivity and investment objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of the plant's production concept, coordinating Plant Engineering, Production Engineering activities, and engineering support for new product launches and projects.
  • Lead continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives, including productivity improvements, cost reduction, equipment optimization, and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) activities.
  • Develop and strengthen the engineering team through coaching, succession planning, change management, performance development, and talent growth to build a high-performing organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Manufacturing or Production Engineering within the automotive industry, with proven experience in wiring harness manufacturing.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of leadership experience managing Production Engineering, Plant Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, VAVE, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and Industrial Engineering methodologies
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
