About the Unit

Reporting directly to the VP France, the Head of Product Management will be a key member of the Yara France Leadership Team, with end-to-end ownership of the Crop Nutrition portfolio.

This strategic leadership role is responsible for defining and driving portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment between commercial priorities, market opportunities, and operational capabilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping business performance and growth, while maintaining excellence in agronomy, product stewardship, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Leading a multidisciplinary team of experts, you will ensure Yara France continues to build and leverage deep technical expertise to drive innovation, customer value, and sustainable business success.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the end-to-end Crop Nutrition portfolio strategy and lifecycle across all product categories.
  • Establish portfolio architecture, category priorities and strategic product positioning.
  • Drive portfolio expansion, optimisation, and rationalisation in line with market developments and business objectives.
  • Represent France's business priorities and customer needs within Group Product Management, R&D, and other global stakeholder forums.
  • Lead the successful introduction and commercialization of new products, technologies, and solutions.
  • Oversee portfolio quality standards, stewardship practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Communications leaders to develop compelling value propositions and differentiation strategies.
  • Support market development initiatives and commercial activation programmes that accelerate growth and customer adoption.
  • Act as a senior representative of the portfolio in strategic customer engagements, industry events, technical forums, and key market discussions.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary team spanning Agronomy, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Stewardship.
  • Build and maintain a robust product knowledge framework that supports commercial excellence, technical expertise, and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute actively to the France Leadership Team, providing strategic insight, market intelligence, and portfolio expertise.
  • Champion collaboration across functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

Profile

We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded leader who combines deep technical understanding with the ability to drive business growth.

  • Master's degree in Agronomy, Chemistry, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Marketing or other strategic business functions within the fertilizer, crop nutrition, agriculture or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing portfolio strategies that deliver sustainable growth and competitive differentiation.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and influencing senior stakeholders within complex, matrix organisations.
  • Strong understanding of crop nutrition markets, agricultural value chains, regulatory landscapes, and sustainability challenges.
  • Ability to balance commercial opportunities, operational realities, regulatory requirements and sustainability ambitions.
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Results-driven with excellent prioritization and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and execution-focused.
  • Curious, collaborative, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in French and English
